Mindful movement for kids

YOGASEEDS CURRICULUM-BASED CLASSES

Having socially and emotionally healthy kids is the foundation for everything else that comes after it. Mindful movement - combining yoga, breath and mindfulness - not only has numerous physiological benefits, but also helps reduce stress and anxiety and supports children in the learning environment. Yoga and meditation has been shown to increase childrens' ability to focus and pay attention, make and keep friends and assist in making responsible decisions. Trauma research shows that mindfulness improves learning readiness, creating better outcomes in education settings. 

Yoga and meditation builds connection. Connection is the antidote to sress and anxiety in both children and adults, connection to ourselves, one another and our breath.
